Six people have died in a helicopter crash in the Gorge de Verdun, a place of great natural beauty, in southeastern France.
The Cougar helicopter, owned by Eurocopter was on a test flight when it hit an electricity cable before crashing on to the river bank, according to witnesses
Those onboard were pilots and engineers who were testing the helicopter before it was passed on to the Albanian army.
Rescuers had trouble reaching the crash site due to the difficult terrain.
An investigation into the cause of the accident has been launched.
