North Korea’s new young leader is married, state media has confirmed.

Commenting images of Kim Jong-un visiting a children’s playgroup, the presenter said he was accompanied by his wife, Ri Sol Ju.

No details were given on when the couple had wed but the announcement followed rumours after Kim Jong-un attended a gala with a woman at his side.
