In February this year an international team of scientists confirmed the existence of a very special planet which could have the perfect conditions for supporting life.

It is orbiting around a red dwarf star every 28 days and is just the right distance to its home star for a moderate climate. This means the water on the planet is liquid, not ice and the surface temperatures are expected to be similar to the Earth so perfect conditions for supporting life.
