A man wanted for shooting an off-duty police officer in Essex in southern England has been found dead in a churchyard in the same county.
A search was mounted for Peter Reeve, 64, after he was believed to have killed PC Ian Dibell during an argument in the street on Monday afternoon.
Reeve was found dead with an illegally-obtained handgun next to him. No shots were fired by the police.
