Syrian TV airs video of navy ‘war games’

Syrian state television on Saturday aired a video of the country’s navy carrying out war games in a show of force by the Assad regime.

The government news agency SANA said the maneouvres would continue over the next few days.

The goal is to see how Syria would respond to a sudden sea borne attack.
