After staying open all weekend to try and clear up the mess NatWest bank staff in Britain are working extended hours again today.
For a week NatWest has been plagued by a massive IT failure, leading to a huge backlog of payments. Such is the chaos the bank admits it does not even know how many of its 7.5 million personal banking customers are affected.
Yesterday 1200 branches opened for the first time on a Sunday.
