Greece’s new prime minister says he will do everything he can to get the country out of crisis.
Antonis Samaras, leader of the New Democracy party, was speaking after swearing the oath of office at a Greek Orthodox ceremony in Athens.
His conservatives won last Sunday’s re-run general election after a poll in May ended in stalemate.
They have formed an uneasy alliance with their Socialist rivals in the Pasok party, backed by the smaller political group, the Democratic Left.
