Prison fire in Turkey kills 13 inmates

Thirteen prisoners have been killed in a fire at a jail at Sanliurfa in southeast Turkey.

They died after an argument began among a group of inmates in a dormitory.

Five other prisoners were injured. The governor denied there was any mutiny.

Turkish media have suggested the dormitory was overcrowded.

The fire was brought under control and order restored.
