Europe’s number one retailer Carrefour is selling out of Greece. The company says it is selling to its joint-venture partner Marinopoulos, which will retain a franchise. The French giant’s exit is a further sign companies are struggling with collapsed demand in Europe’s most indebted nations, which include Ireland, Portugal, Spain and Italy.
