Nintendo’s new Wii U was one of the headline-grabbers at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, 2012 in Los Angeles.

Due out around November, the next generation tablet/console hybrid features a touchscreen, the Wii U Gamepad, as the main controller. It also works as a TV remote and features an internet browser.

Nintendo are hoping to steal a march on rivals Sony and Microsoft.
