A man has been killed after a gunman opened fire in a busy shopping centre in Toronto, Canada.
Seven other people were injured, two of them seriously – including a 13-year-old boy.
Police say they are still hunting the gunman.
“We were working and then we saw people running. We had to lock the doors. Security came and they told us we had to lock the doors, go to the back, we went to lockdown. And then they told us to evacuate the building,” said one worker.
Police have described the incident, which happened in a food court at the Eaton Centre, as a targeted shooting.
It is a rare occurrence of major gun violence in Canada’s largest city.
