Have you every wondered what it would be like to conduct a full 132-piece orchestra? Well now you can do just that at the London Science Museum’s new digital installation: Universe of Sound: The Planets.

It uses Microsoft’s Kinect for Xbox 360 motion-tracking technology and touchscreens. Just like the real deal, if you raise your left hand the music gets louder and if you speed up the movement of your right, the tempo increases.

However, get it wrong and the music grinds to a halt while a computerised audience cough politely.
