Ukraine’s main opposition parties have unveiled more details on their joint reform programme.

Front of Change leader Arseniy Yatsenyuk and former Tymoshenko aide Oleksander Turchynov said they will make reforming the country’s legal system their top priority if they win October’s parliamentary election.

“Look at the last criminal cases, at this political prosecution, this is the evidence that there is no real judiciary, it is more handmade. It is more hand picked-up judges that make handmade court,” Yatsenyuk told euronews.

Our correspondent Sergio Cantone says next October’s elections will present a difficult test for the country’s opposition parties.

He says Ukrainian people are rather sceptical about the proposals that they are coming up with.
