Eugenia Timoshenko is the daughter of Yulia Tymoshenko, the opposition leader and former Ukrainian Prime Minister who has been sentenced to seven years in prison for abuse of power during her time in office, a charge that she disputes.
This week the European Parliament passed a fourth resolution denouncing Ukraine’s treatment of her. Euronews first asked Eugenia about her mother’s health. She has been transferred to hospital with serious back pain and is now in her tenth month of imprisonment.
