German state wants ban on anti-Islam posters

Officials in Germany’s western state of North Rhine-Westphalia want police to prevent a far-right group displaying anti-Islam posters after protests outside several mosques last weekend turned violent.

Ralf Jäger, the state’s interior minister, called the actions by ‘Pro-NRW’ on Saturday a “deliberate provocation.”
