Militant Irish nationalists have been blamed for planting two bombs that have been defused in Northern Ireland.
One device in an abandoned van in the town of Newry was fully primed and packed with enough explosives to kill anyone in a 50-metre radius.
The other was found under a parked car in Belfast.
