Artist Anthony McCall is showing what is his largest museum exhibition to date; his ‘solid light’ series in Berlin.

McCall, who was born in Britain and moved to the US in 1973, has filled a huge hall at the Hamburger Bahnhof with fog and seven of his compelling light sculptures.

Video projectors, one for each sculpture, emit light through a haze of fine steam. The light reflects on the steam, creating lines and walls that appear almost tangible.
