Some 200 people are reported missing after a ferry capsized on a river in southern Bangladesh, according to local media. The boat was carrying more than 250 passengers. Dozens of people are said to have been rescued from the Meghna river.
The accident is thought to have happened after the ferry collided with an oil barge. Ferry accidents are common on Bangladesh’s rivers with a number of fatal incidents every year
