Anti-nuclear demonstrations in Europe have marked the one year anniversary of the Fukushima nuclear disaster.
In France, nearly 700 people, half of them Germans, called for the closure of Fessenheim, the oldest of the French nuclear plants.
In Madrid, activists formed a human chain in front of the Japanese Embassy, to demand the end of nuclear energy and show support for Japanese victims.
Polish protesters also made their voices heard.
They said ‘No way’ after the government gave the green light to build the first nuclear power plant in the country.
