Baltic PMs advance nuclear project

The Estonian and Latvian prime ministers, in talks with their Lithuanian counterpart, have agreed to the construction of a new nuclear power station in Lithuania. The EU, which is helping with the decommissioning of the country’s existing Soviet-era plant,is resisting calls for further funding for the project.
