British scientists have launched a personalised diet based on your DNA.
Would-be dieters send a sample of saliva to the Nordiska diet lab for DNA analysis.
The diet team then looks at eight variants of seven genes and designs a diet and exercise programme which they claim works best for your body.
Participants are encouraged to enter their daily food intake online. Scientists say that regular interaction with diet specialists also helps improve results.
A trial of the diet in Denmark involving 7,700 people saw nine out of 10 people lose weight, with some dropping up to 12 kilos in four months.
