FARC rebels come under pressure in Colombia

Military forces have been taking on FARC rebels in the Colombian town of Tulua. Children were seen scattering in the streets after the area, 350 kilometres west of Bogota, came under attack.

Meanwhile, the daughter of a FARC kidnap victim lead a march in the capital. Natalia Andrea Duarte’s father, policeman Carlos Jose Duarte, was abdycted more than 12 years ago.
An improvised radio station has also been airing messages from relatives of other victims, in the hope that it will convince FARC leaders to release those being held.
