More pictures are emerging of what appears to be the devastation and destruction in Homs. Young children can be seen being carried from a residential building that looks to have been shelled.
Although there is no way of verifying the footage, growing reports suggest such incidents are now
taking place in several areas across the city as Syrian government troops continue their fourth day of attacks.
Another video released today allegedly shows victims of the heavy bombardment receiving treatment in a makeshift clinic. Activists claim nearly 100 people were killed on Monday.
Homs, the country’s third largest city, has become a flashpoint of the nearly 11-month old uprising against President Assad.
The authorities say the military is fighting what it calls “terrorists” bent on dividing and sabotaging Syria.
