A British publisher has backed down from plans to print parts of Hitler’s notorious Mein Kampf in a history magazine, sold on newsstands in Germany.

Amid the threat of legal action from the state of Bavaria which holds the copyright, he said extracts from the dictator’s text would be blotted out.
