Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is hosting talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed southern caucasus region of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Although the meeting did not produce a breakthrough, all three leaders did agree to try harder for consensus in the area which declared its independence from Azerbaijan in 1991.
