Life sentence for inciting murder of Armenian writer

A court in Istanbul has given a life sentence to 31-year-old Yasin Hayal for inciting the murder of a prominent journalist of Armenian origin.

Five years ago Hrant Dink was shot by a teenager who was convicted and jailed last year.

Dink advocated Turkish-Armenian reconciliation. He was prosecuted three times for denigrating Turkishness.
