Shame is a new film from Steve McQueen staring Michael Fassbender as a sex-addict. When his sister (played by Carey Mulligan) comes to stay, his life starts to unravel.

Shame is not for the squeamish or prudish but has been well reviewed by critics who have called it “raw”, “searing” and “powerful”. Both Fassbinder and Mulligan have garnered praise for their unflinching performances and the subject matter seems to have hit a nerve amongst the public. Stand by for many articles in the press and on the tv about sex addiction: comedian/actor Jeff Leach has already stepped up to the mark with an interview for the BBC headlined “I’ve slept with 300 women and I want to stop!”
