Turkey is to pay compensation to the families of Kurdish villagers killed in a recent airstrike in the southeast of the country.The move comes after several days of street protests by Kurdish groups.
Thirty-five people were killed when Turkish warplanes mistakenly targeted Kurdish smugglers, thought to be PKK members.
