Greek elections put back until April

Parliamentary elections in Greece which were expected to happen in February are to be put back until April. It follows an agreement with the country’s conservatives to drop their insistence for an early poll. The delay will give technocrat Prime Minister Lucas Papademos a few more weeks to pass reforms to reduce the public deficit.
