More than 100,000 people turned out for a rally in support of former Pakistani cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan on Sunday.

The protest in Karachi was held as President Asif Ali Zardari government faced growing unrest over power blackouts and a troubled alliance with the US.

In a speech, Khan promised to wipe out major corruption within 90 days if elected.
