Mustafa Bag: The fall of Tripoli

I was asked to go to the capital of Libya, Tripoli. First I began to prepare for this challenging journey, and then I went, which was quite difficult because I had to travel across the desert.
I entered Tripoli with opposition fighters. On the morning of Aug. 21 I witnessed the opposition fighters take over the city centre.
One day later rebel fighters would capture the Bab Al Azizia presidential palace. For hours and hours very heavy clashes took place around Bab Al Azizia. Later I also went inside alongside the rebels. Gaddafi had left his palace in the late afternoon.
I witnessed this historical moment on behalf of euronews.
