Britain’s Prince Philip has heart operation

Britain’s Prince Philip has been successfully treated for a blocked artery after being admitted to hospital on Friday with chest pains.

The 90-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth had the operation at a clinic in Cambridge, eastern England.

The Greek-born prince has a reputation in Britain for making politically-incorrect gaffes.

On a visit to China in 1986, he told a group of British exchange students: “If you stay here much longer, you will all go slitty-eyed.”
