Forget the rest – Michael Buble has released a new album simply entitled “Christmas” and it’s already topping the charts. His compilation of festive classics includes everybody’s favourite tracks. He said: “I am so passionate about the holiday and the music that it was easy to pick songs that meant a lot to me. A lot of these tunes when I hear them, take me right back to really warm childhood memories. And so, it was really easy to do that and I mean, my mom had the Bing Crosby record playing through the house through the whole holiday, so that had a big impact on me.”
Scott Weiland has also released a Christmas compilation called The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.
Verteran crooner Paul Anka has released a collection called Songs of December.
Justin Bieber is never far behind a trend and his offering is an album entitled Under the Mistletoe. It includes All I Want for Christmas is You, with Mariah Carey.
The song also features on Michael Buble’s album. He said: “I imagine she won’t call me, she’ll just accept the money – not that she needs it. I think her version went to number six, I think that’s the highest her version every went, and my version went to number one.”
