Bears up for grabs in Berlin Eleven years in, the Marrakesh Film Festival is now considered one of the most important cinema events in the Maghreb.
Every year the event attracts a mix of international stars. In keeping with the festival’s theme of diversity, films from across the globe are shortlisted for the coveted Golden Star award, which this year, includes ten titles from first time directors.
