Dozens feared killed in Afghanistan blasts


Dozens of people are reported to have been killed in separate bomb attacks in Afghansitan. Around 30 were said to have died in a suicide attack on a Shi’ite festival at a shrine in Kabul. An official said a large number of people were injured and that the death toll was expected to rise. Police say at least four people were killed, including one Afghan soldier, when a bomb exploded in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif. A suicide bomber is believed to have detonated a device near a mosque.
