The British former boss of Olympus Corp. Michael Woodford has met with Japanese police and prosecutors, the first time he has been back in Japan since fleeing the country in October after blowing the whistle on a massive scandal at the company.

Olympus fired Woodford after he discovered hundreds of millions of dollars could not be accounted for, and suspected links with organised crime.
