Troops injured in Kosovo clashes

21 soldiers are reported injured in overnight clashes between NATO forces and Serbs in northern Kosovo.

Troops fired tear gas and gunfire was heard as Serbs tried to defend barricades against the Kosovan authorities.

New customs posts have caused tension with local Serbs who don’t recognise Kosovo’s independence.
