Gaddafi's spy chief is seized by Libyan fighters

Libya’s feared former intelligence chief Abdullah al-Senussi, has been captured only 24-hours after Libyan fighters seized Gaddafi’s son Saif al-Islam.

Senussi was discovered at a house belonging to his sister near the town of Birak, about 500 km south of Tripoli.

Libya’s National Transitional Council says both men will be tried in the country and not extradited to the Hague, but so far those holding Saif have refused to deliver him to the NTC. He is currently imprisoned in Zintan where he explained how he had been injured by NATO forces.

“ The injury I have is from a month ago near Wadi Zemzem from the infidel crusader pack and thankfully the Libyans didn’t attack us, it was the infidels…”

Aids to Gaddafi have said Saif was injured in a NATO raid but it was while he tried to escape from Bani Walid the day before his father was captured and killed in his home town of Sirte.
