Tusk government wins confidence vote

Polish prime minister Donald Tusk’s government has won a confidence vote in parliament after vowing to introduce tough economic reforms. The measures involve raising the retierment age to 67 and cutting tax and pension privileges.

The government says it is taking action to shield the economy from the euro crisis.
