Portugal sealed their place Euro 2012 finals after beating Bosnia 6 -2 in Lisbon. An inspired performance from Christiano Ronaldo with two solo goals helped clinch the tie including a blistering long range free kick after just eight minutes.

It is their fifth consecutive appearance in the Euro Championships. The Portuguese will be joined in the draw by Croatia. There were no goals in their match against Turkey – they were 3-0 up from the first leg. Rumours suggest Turkey coach Gus Hiddink will be on his way.

The draw for the finals in Poland and Ukraine next summer will take place on December 2 which will include Ireland who completed their play-offs with a 5-1 aggregate win against Estonia. The Czech Republic finished won through 3-0 over their two legs against Montenegro.
