Bolshoi dance pair defect to St Petersburg

One of the Bolshoi Theatre’s most promising dance partnerships is leaving Moscow in favour of appearing on stage in St Petersburg.

Prima ballerina Natalia Osipova and Principle dancer Ivan Vasiliev have decided to defect merely a month after the re opening of the newly renovated Bolshoi.Their going is said to be for artistic reasons.
