Riot police clear out Occupy Oakland protest

Riot police have cleared out a weekend-old anti-capitalism demonstration in Oakland, California.

Protesters appeared to put up little resistance to the dawn raid, although several dozen were arrested.

Authorities had warned demonstrators to leave or be dispersed by force.
