After weeks of speculation, the route the 2012 Dakar Rally will take has finally been revealed. The 33rd edition, will go coast-to-coast across South America and end in Peru.
A total of 465 vehicles are expected to compete in this year’s event with drivers covering approximately 8,400km during the race.
The Dakar Rally, which gets underway on the 1rst of January in Mar del Plata, is the fourth to be held in South America.
