EU heads held two emergency summits this week aimed at saving the euro.

Slicing Greece’s debt in half, increasing the EU’s bail-out fund and protecting European banks were seen as the three key pillars to protecting the euro zone. After a long stand-off with the banks EU chiefs finally managed to broker a deal in the early hours of Thursday morning. All that and more in this week’s edition of Europe Weekly.
