Switzerland considers euro aid role

Some of the help to back up debt-ridden euro zone countries could come from the traditionally euro-sceptic Switzerland.

A government spokesman said the country was considering taking part in an investment vehicle being proposed by the bailout fund.

They are looking at financing the scheme with capital from hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds with a view to lowering the cost of financing debt.
