New Jersey announces Formula One race

After five years without a race, The United States will play host to two Formula One Grand Prix from 2013 onwards after official confirmation on Tuesday of a race in New Jersey.

The announcement was made by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie who made the headlines a few years ago after he was caught driving on the wrong side of the road.

The United States is also scheduled to stage a Grand Prix in Texas from next year.
