UEFA bans smoking at Euro 2012

With only a few months to go before Euro 2012 kicks off in Ukraine and Poland, UEFA announced on Monday that smoking will be completely banned at stadiums during the competition.

UEFA said the tobacco free policy had been drawn up with the World Health Organisation and the World Heart Federation.

The Euro 2012 championships kick off in Warsaw on the 8th of June that year and end with the final in Ukraine’s capital Kiev on the 1rst of July.
