UK holidaymakers killed by flooding in Spain

A British couple have been killed in a flash flood in Spain.

The elderly couple, thought to be in their 70s, were on holiday in the town on Finnestrat on the Costa Blanca, when they were swept away as they sat outside a cafe.

Heavy rain had caused a nearby river to burst its banks, deluging a nearby market.
