Rail link between North Korea and Russia inaugurated

A ceremony has been held in North Korea to mark the start of a new train service to Russia.

The repaired railway route links the economic zone of Rajin to the Russian border town of Khasan.

It is set to help boost economic ties and offers North Korea the prospect of boosting trade after years of international sanctions.
