Campaigning in Poland’s General election has ended ahead of the poll on Sunday.
The Prime Minister Donald Tusk is reportedly ahead in the opinion polls. If that turns out to be true he will have to build a coalition around his centre-right Civic Platform.
Former Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski is in second place with 27 percent, eight points off Tusk, and he too will be obliged to deal with smaller parties if he wins.
“We will build a Poland of dignity, power and self-respect, which will make Poles powerful, dignified, and respected. Once again I say do not waste the last few hours .”
Third in opinion polls is a new party formed from a Civic Platform splinter, on 12.5 percent.
